Terms of Service
These are written in plain language on purpose. Legal documents that nobody can read protect nobody, and if you cannot tell what you are agreeing to then neither of us has gained anything.

A note while this is being finalized
These terms are under review by counsel. Two clauses in particular, the limitation of liability in section 15 and the dispute process in section 19, are marked where a decision is still outstanding, and I would rather show you that than quietly publish language I have not had checked. Nothing on this page is legal advice to you.
The short version
This site is information, not a contract. Reading it, filling in a form or booking a call does not start an engagement or oblige either of us to anything.
Real work is covered by a real agreement. If we work together, a separate signed agreement governs it, and that agreement wins over anything on this page.
Nothing here is professional advice. Not legal, not financial, not tax, not credit, not insurance. Talk to somebody licensed who knows your situation.
No result is promised. Testimonials are real people's experiences, not predictions about yours.
The content is mine. Read it, quote a bit of it with credit, do not republish it as your own.

1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by Ian M Lacovara. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Ian M Lacovara and, where the context relates to services, to the company providing those services.
Services described here are provided by separate legal entities:
- Business systems, automation and related services, including the Life Insurance Solutions offer, are provided by I Ninja LLC.
- Credit strategy services are provided by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC.
- Coaching, consulting and growth work is provided by Ian M Lacovara directly.
In plain terms: which entity you end up contracting with depends on what you hire us for, and the agreement for that work will say which one it is.
3. What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website only. They do not cover the services themselves, our other websites, which have their own terms, or any third-party platform you reach through a link from here.
4. What this website is, and what it is not
This site is published for general information and to describe services that may be available. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to provide anything to anybody.
In plain terms: submitting a form, booking a call or sending an email does not make you a client and does not oblige either of us to do anything.
5. Service engagements are governed separately
Any work we do for you is governed by the agreement for that work, including its own scope, fees, payment terms, confidentiality, cancellation and liability provisions. Where that agreement conflicts with these website terms, the agreement for the work controls in respect of that work.
Credit services carry additional requirements under federal and state law. Those are addressed in the separate agreement and disclosures provided before that work begins, not on this page.
6. Nothing here is professional advice
Content on this site is general in nature. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, insurance or credit advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who knows your circumstances.
Do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything you read here without getting advice appropriate to your situation.
7. Results, testimonials and earnings
Testimonials and reviews published on this site are the genuine statements of the people named, reproduced with typographical corrections only. They are individual experiences and are not a prediction, projection or guarantee of what you will experience.
Some testimonials describe specific outcomes, including credit score increases. Those outcomes were not promised in advance to the people who achieved them and are not promised to you. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your own circumstances, the decisions of third parties such as lenders and credit bureaus, and your own execution.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any score, approval, timeline, revenue, income or business result. Any description of a commission opportunity describes the structure only and is not a representation that any particular amount will be earned.
8. Using this website
You may view the site and print or save individual pages for your own reference. Use it lawfully, and do not use it in a way that interferes with anybody else's use of it.
9. Things you must not do
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anybody's rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
- Interfere with the site's operation, security or availability, including through automated attacks, excessive automated requests, or attempts to introduce malicious code.
- Scrape, harvest or systematically collect content or contact details, including for unsolicited marketing or to build a commercial dataset.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us through the site.
10. Who owns what
The content of this site, including text, structure, layout, design, graphics and logos, is owned by Ian M Lacovara or the relevant company and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. The I Ninja and Ninja Credit Consultants names and marks are ours.
In plain terms: quoting a short passage with attribution and a link is fine. Republishing pages, selling the content, or passing it off as yours is not.
11. Anything you send us
If you send us a message, a question, a document or feedback through this site, you confirm you have the right to send it. We treat business information you share in a prospective engagement as confidential and do not publish it or use it as an example without your permission.
If you volunteer a suggestion about our services, we may use it without obligation or payment to you. Do not send us confidential information you do not want us to have, and do not send us personal information about other people without a lawful basis for doing so.
12. Third-party links, embeds and services
This site links to other websites, including ones we operate, and embeds third-party components such as scheduling and form widgets, analytics and web fonts. Content loaded from a third party is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party sites or services, and a link is not an endorsement of everything at the other end of it. What gets collected when you use this site is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this site at any time and without notice. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may remove or update content, including descriptions of services, as things change.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the information here is complete, current or free of error, or that the site or any server is free of harmful components.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of this website, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you.
Liability arising from work we perform for you is addressed in the agreement for that work, not here.
A monetary cap on liability, typically tied to amounts paid in a preceding period, has not been settled. Counsel is reviewing whether a cap is appropriate for a site that sells nothing directly, and at what level. Until that is decided, this section limits categories of damages rather than stating a dollar figure.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ian M Lacovara, I Ninja LLC and Ninja Credit Consultants LLC from claims, losses and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of this site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of a third party.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information this site collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. By using the site you acknowledge that policy.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page changes, and the updated version applies to use of the site from that date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes affecting work already underway are handled through that agreement, not here.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Where mandatory consumer protection law where you live gives you rights that cannot be overridden by agreement, nothing here takes those rights away.
If something goes wrong, contact us first at ianl@i-ninja-llc.com with a description of the issue and what you would like done about it. Most problems get solved faster that way than any other.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in the courts of the State of California, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts for that purpose.
Whether disputes should go to binding arbitration, and whether a class action waiver is appropriate, has not been decided. Those clauses have strict formation requirements and are routinely struck down when drafted loosely, so nothing of that kind has been added here. The current section keeps disputes in California courts until counsel advises otherwise.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of this website.
